Recap: Lake Country Christian Eagles vs. Southwest Raiders
The Lake Country Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. Their rough 85-61 defeat to Southwest might stick with them for a while. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Goree, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Campbell, who scored 17 points.
Lake Country Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Southwest, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Lake Country Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Temple Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Temple Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Friday. Southwest's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fossil Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. One thing working in Fossil Ridge's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
