It was a proper cat-fight when Erie faced off against Boulder on Thursday. Neither Erie nor Boulder could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Erie's first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Beatrice Carey, which was the first she's scored this season.

With that draw, Erie's record moves to 2-0-1. Meanwhile, Boulder's record is now 2-0-1.

Erie won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Poudre at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th. Erie's defense better be ready for this one: Poudre has averaged an impressive 2.5 goals per game this season. As for Boulder, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Monarch on the 18th.
