Volleyball Recap: Dixon Falls Short of Sycamore in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dixon can now relate to. They fell just short of the Sycamore Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dukes & Duchesses of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Dixon's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Presley Lappin, who had 15 assists.

Dixon's loss dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Sycamore, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Dixon nor Sycamore have any future games scheduled.
