Football Game Preview: Pomfret School Griffins vs. Wilbraham & Monson Academy Titans

The Griffins will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Titans at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pomfret School is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Hebron Academy, who was ranked 19th in their home state at the time (Pomfret School was ranked second). The Griffins lost 44-18 to the Lumberjacks on Saturday.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 62-16, which was the final score in Wilbraham & Monson Academy's tilt against Harvey on Saturday. The matchup marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
