Softball Recap: Bradford Takes a Loss

Bradford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-2 to the DuBois Beavers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Owls of the 16-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Bradford's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for DuBois, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Bradford will head out on the road to square off against Elk County Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for DuBois, they will host Mifflin County at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Beavers 3.9, the Huskies 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
