Hamlin had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They never let the Miles Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 28-0 win. The Pied Pipers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 28 points or more this season.

Hamlin was led to victory by Rowdy Holden and Hudson Smith. Holden rushed for 78 yards and one TD, while Smith rushed for 54 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries. The dominant performance also gave Smith a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two).

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Hamlin proved: they limited Miles to a paltry 1.3 yards per carry. The Pied Pipers didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.5.

Hamlin's record is now 7-1. As for Miles, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
