Basketball Game Recap: Worland vs. Powell

It was a good run, but the Powell Panthers finally witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak. They suffered a grim 75-48 defeat to the Worland Warriors on Saturday. Powell hasn't found any success against Worland since Feb. 12 of last year, this defeat making it three in a row.

The Panthers' loss pushed them down to 9-7. The victory for Worland kept them a perfect 20-0.

The Panthers will take on Lander Valley Friday. The odds don't look promising for Powell, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall. As for Worland, they will face off against Lovell Friday. Lovell took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Worland's good fortune.
