Baseball Recap: Oglesby Takes a Loss

Oglesby is still winless after their match against Azle Christian on Saturday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Azle Christian Fighting Crusaders.

Oglesby saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Webb, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Those RBI marked the first that Webb brought in this season.

Oglesby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Azle Christian, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Oglesby will take on Bosqueville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Azle Christian, they will square off against Ranger at 3:40 p.m. on Saturday.
