Football Recap: Lake Region Takes a Loss

Lake Region and Liberty squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Lake Region had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Chargers and fell 47-0. The Thunder's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Lake Region's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Lake Region does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty, they will challenge Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
