Wallkill has gone a perfect 4-0 against Spackenkill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Spartans at 4:15 p.m. Wallkill's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Spackenkill's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Wallkill will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Roosevelt, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Panthers blew past the Presidents 18-3 on Friday. Considering the Panthers have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Wallkill got a massive performance out of Audrey Reeves, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave Reeves a new career-high. Grace Rodriguez was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Wallkill hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Roosevelt struck out ten times.
Meanwhile, Spackenkill was able to grind out a solid victory over Our Lady of Lourdes on Saturday, taking the game 8-3.
Katherine Darcy tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over 4.1 innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Isabella Gilmore was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Cora Polakowski also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Spackenkill has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Wallkill, their record now sits at 10-2.
Spackenkill's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Wallkill has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Spackenkill, though, as they've been averaging 9.7 hits. Given Wallkill's sizable advantage in that area, the Spartans will need to find a way to close that gap.
Wallkill took their victory against Spackenkill in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 20-8 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
