After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nixa, Joplin was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 46-30 victory over the Neosho Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 41-40 back in December of 2024.

Joplin's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Neosho, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Joplin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 47-39 defeat against Lebanon on the 8th. As for Neosho, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Republic will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Neosho surely won't give up without a fight.
