Football Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short on the Road Against El Capitan + How To Watch

Hoover kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They received a blow as they fell 27-13 to the El Capitan Gauchos.

Hoover's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cam Mobley, who threw for 250 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 74 yards on only ten carries.

Looking ahead, Hoover will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Santa Maria at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for El Capitan, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
