River Ridge is 3-0 against Lassiter since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The River Ridge Knights will head out to square off against the Lassiter Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Wednesday, River Ridge came up short against Sequoyah and fell 82-72. The Knights have struggled against the Chiefs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Lassiter also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Creekview by a score of 62-51.

River Ridge will have to contain TJ Shinkle as he made an impact in Lassiter's last game. He went 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points. Jack Bristow was another key player, putting up six points.

Lassiter has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for River Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

River Ridge skirted past Lassiter 55-52 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Shinkle, who went 6 for 8 en route to 17 points and five assists.
