Hickory is a perfect 10-0 against Indian River since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hawks are taking a road trip to take on the Braves at 5:45 p.m. Hickory will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Indian River made easy work of Lakeland on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Indian River took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-13.

Indian River's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Hickory, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Everything went Hickory's way against Indian River when the teams last played back in August, as Hickory made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
