Basketball Game Preview: San Diego Jewish Academy Lions vs. Calvin Christian Crusaders

San Diego Jewish Academy took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They took down Orange Glen 52-35. The contest marked the Lions' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, Calvin Christian played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Del Lago Academy, falling 62-33. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-14.

San Diego Jewish Academy will have to contain Caleb Lapka as he made an impact in Calvin Christian's last game. He went 7 of 16 on his way to 17 points and four steals. Garrett Becker was another key player, putting up 13 points.

San Diego Jewish Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season.
