Basketball Recap: Carrollton Comes Up Short at Home Against Lexington

Carrollton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 72-57 fall against the Lexington Minutemen on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Lexington's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Carrollton will square off against Holden at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lexington, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Orrick at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th.
