Softball Recap: Central Valley Christian Falls to Orosi in First Game of Season

Central Valley Christian kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 12-3 to the Orosi Cardinals. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

The win made it two in a row for Orosi and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Central Valley Christian will square off against Lindsay at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lindsay has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.5 runs per game on average), something Central Valley Christian will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Orosi, they will challenge Farmersville at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
