North Summit came tearing into Thursday's contest with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Duchesne Eagles to the tune of 65-26. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Hayzlyn Murdock continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 17 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards. Ellie Stephens was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 19 rebounds.

North Summit smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 18 consecutive games.

Duchesne's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kira Grant, who posted ten points and five boards. That was a full 38.5% of Duchesne's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chezney Farnsworth, who had eight points.

North Summit pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.7 points. As for Duchesne, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7.

North Summit has already played their next contest, a 67-45 win against Rich on the 30th. As for Duchesne, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-23 victory against San Juan on the 31st.
