Canyon View had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Juab Wasps on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Jarron Bradshaw was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Canyon View let Trenton Ludlow and Price Atwood run wild. Ludlow went 3-for-6 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI, while Atwood went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most doubles Ludlow has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Asher Slack, who went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one double.

Canyon View's victory bumped their record up to 26-5. As for Juab, the loss snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 25-6 record.

Canyon View will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wasps: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
