Timberline won the last time they faced Columbia and things went their way on Monday too. The Wolves walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Carter Bleazard looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

At the plate, Will Nafzger and Dallin Welch did most of the damage at the plate: Nafzger went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Welch went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and two RBI. That's the most RBI Welch has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was David Ryden, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Timberline's record is now 12-10. As for Columbia, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Timberline will square off against Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia, they will take on Middleton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
