Basketball Recap: Cypress Ridge Takes a Loss

Cypress Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 73-24 loss at the hands of the Cypress Falls Eagles. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-20.

Cypress Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Cypress Falls, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress Ridge will face off against Cy-Fair at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cypress Falls, they will take on Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
