Bellevue East is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Lincoln Northeast on Wednesday. They fell 5-2 to the Rockets. The game marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Colin Kinman, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Omaha North now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bellevue East, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Omaha North's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bellevue East has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .435. It's a different story for Omaha North, though, as they've only averaged .330. Will they be able to contain Bellevue East's hitters?
