Basketball Game Preview: ConVal Cougars vs. Sanborn Regional Indians

The ConVal Cougars are headed away from home for the first time to face off against the Sanborn Regional Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Sanborn Regional took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on ConVal, who comes in off a win.

ConVal is headed out to face Sanborn Regional after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. ConVal was the clear victor by a 60-38 margin over Plymouth on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Sanborn Regional lost a heartbreaker to Coe-Brown Academy when they met back in December of 2022, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. Sanborn Regional fell to Coe-Brown Academy 62-57. The Indians have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

ConVal suffered a grim 75-55 defeat to Sanborn Regional in their previous matchup back in January. Can ConVal avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
