The Intrinsic Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Senn Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Intrinsic's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Noble Street College Prep 15-0. With that victory, the Mustangs brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Joel Diaz was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. Diaz was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Intrinsic got a massive performance out of Jacques Rodriguez, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave Rodriguez a new career-high. Elijah Alvarez was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Intrinsic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .676. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Senn got the win against Intrinsic on Saturday by a conclusive 18-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.
Like Intrinsic, Senn also got a great game from a two-way player: Jones Sweetman. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. Sweetman was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Camilo Nicado Yelmene was a standout: he scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jack Shanley, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Intrinsic's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Senn, their record is now 2-0.
Intrinsic might still be hurting after the 18-3 defeat they got from Senn when the teams last played on Saturday. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
