Plattsmouth is 2-8 against Nebraska City since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Plattsmouth Blue Devils will be staying on the road to face off against the Nebraska City Pioneers. She wasn't the only one working in the home runs department: Nebraska City lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now launched at least two home runs in four consecutive matches.

Plattsmouth's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Nebraska City, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.
