Soccer Recap: Fort Wayne Wayne Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Fort Wayne Wayne was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bellmont Braves by a score of 1-0. Fort Wayne Wayne were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bellmont apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Fort Wayne Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-2. As for Bellmont, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Looking ahead, Fort Wayne Wayne will host Fort Wayne North Side at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bellmont, they will face off against Huntington North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellmont are facing Huntington North at the right time seeing as Huntington North are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
