Corunna won the last time they faced Perry and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cavaliers won by a set and slipped past the Ramblers 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cavaliers.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Corunna who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-15, 20-25, 25-15.

Rachel Steinacker paced Corunna's offense, picking up nine kills. Steinacker got some help from Mackenzie Lecureaux and her 14 assists. Lecureaux was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Corunna's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Corunna wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Brandon on the 25th. As for Perry, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Durand on the 21st.
