Baseball Recap: Catholic Memorial Takes a Loss

Catholic Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Oak Creek Knights, falling 13-3.

Catholic Memorial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Freschi, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Catholic Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Oak Creek, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Catholic Memorial will venture away from home to challenge Milwaukee Reagan at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Crusaders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Oak Creek, they are taking a road trip to face off against Racine Case at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
