It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Schenevus Central had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Gilboa-Conesville Central Wildcats, sneaking past 6-4. Winning may never get old, but the Dragons sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Owen Green, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Levi Jordan, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.

Schenevus Central's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Gilboa-Conesville Central, they moved to 8-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Schenevus Central will square off against Fillmore at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Dragons 3.4, the Eagles 2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Gilboa-Conesville Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
