Recap: Claremore Christian Warriors vs. Regent Prep
After a string of three wins, the Claremore Christian Warriors's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 45-30 bruising from Regent Prep.
Despite the defeat, Claremore Christian saw an underclassman step up: Sophie Blair scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Claremore Christian struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Claremore Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Regent Prep, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-0.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Wesleyan Christian the next time they take the court. Regent Prep will host Wesleyan Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Claremore Christian will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
