Football Recap: Dexter Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Dexter faced Stearns in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Tigers were dealt a 58-20 loss at the hands of the Minutemen. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-20.

This is the second loss in a row for Dexter and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Stearns, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Dexter will venture away from home to challenge Bucksport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stearns, they will head out to square off against Ellsworth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Minutemen will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
