Basketball Game Preview: Firestone Falcons vs. Jackson Polar Bears

The Firestone Falcons and the Jackson Polar Bears will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Firestone has struggled recently with eight losses in a row, while Jackson will arrive with three straight victories.

Last Saturday, Firestone came up short against Copley and fell 71-61.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jackson). They put the hurt on Alliance with a sharp 91-71 win on Saturday. Given the Polar Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Aviators are ranked 196th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Firestone, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
