Basketball Recap: Cicero Prep Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Anthem Prep

Cicero Prep Academy had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 68-48 to the Anthem Prep Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Centurions of the 62-22 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Cicero Prep Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Leading Edge Academy - GEC at 7:00 p.m. on December 3. As for Anthem Prep, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Highland Prep West at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
