After flying high against Bethany Community on Monday, Wesleyan Christian Academy came back down to earth. Wesleyan Christian Academy fell 5-2 to the Charlotte Christian Knights on Tuesday. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Wesleyan Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mackenzie Smith, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Peyton Martin also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Wesleyan Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Charlotte Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Wesleyan Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on Charlotte Country Day School at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Charlotte Christian, they will host High Point Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
