Basketball Recap: Anderson Finds Home Court Redemption Against Yreka

There's no place like home for Anderson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Yreka Miners by a score of 51-41 on Friday. For the Cubs, this counts as revenge for the 55-41 victory the Miners walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Anderson can attribute much of their success to Elias Whitehead, who posted 18 points. Jose Ponce was another key player, putting up six points.

Anderson pushed their record up to 9-13 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game.
