Volleyball Recap: Brownstown/St. Elmo Starts off Right with Win over Okaw Valley

Brownstown/St. Elmo took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the Okaw Valley Timberwolves by a score of 2-0. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Timberwolves, too.

Brownstown/St. Elmo easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-18.

Addie Sasse paced Brownstown/St. Elmo's offense, picking up six kills. Sasse got some help from Macey Sapp and her six assists. Presley Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Brownstown/St. Elmo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Martinsville on the 26th. As for Okaw Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Neoga on the 26th.
