Newman International Academy entered their tilt with Village Tech on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Viper Squids. Considering the Warriors have won three contests by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Newman International Academy got a massive performance out of Andrew Davis, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-2. Davis has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Alberto Colunga, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-1.

Newman International Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .737. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Newman International Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

They will have a chance to go back-to-back against Village Tech: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
