Baseball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 18-1 to the East Clarendon Wolverines.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for East Clarendon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Marion will venture away from home to face off against Loris at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Swamp Foxes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for East Clarendon, they will challenge Socastee at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
