Football Recap: Martinsburg Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Huntington

Martinsburg faced Huntington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 22-20. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Highlanders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Martinsburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Huntington, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
