Soccer Recap: Trinity Christian Falls Short Against Ranked the Covenant

Trinity Christian faced The Covenant in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Gryphons fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. Trinity Christian were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as The Covenant apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Trinity Christian fell to 9-1-2. As for The Covenant, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1-1.

Trinity Christian has already played their next contest, a 7-0 victory against Seton on the 7th. As for The Covenant, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 win against Virginia Episcopal School on the 7th.
