While Franklin's victory against Monroe wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Hornets 7-6 on Friday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Franklin back to even at 3-3. As for Monroe, they moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Franklin will square off against Talawanda at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Brave will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Monroe, they will face off against Seton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
