St. Patrick waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Ionia Bulldogs by a score of 67-55. Given the Shamrocks' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 310th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Patrick's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Ionia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Patrick will challenge Saranac at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ionia, they will host Lansing Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
