Greenwich put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians 86-14. Given the Witches' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Fordians are ranked 599th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Greenwich's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.1 points over those games. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-15.

Looking ahead, Greenwich will be playing in front of their home fans against Mechanicville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, they and Emma Willard will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
