Volleyball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland managed to slip by Millbrook the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Huskies lost 3-0 to the Blazers on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

While Highland was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Millbrook's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-21.

Leading Millbrook to victory were Cc Grey and Alexis Larocca. Grey had 15 digs and four assists, while Larocca had nine digs and three aces. That's the most digs Larocca has posted since back in October of 2024.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Millbrook, their win bumped their record up to 19-11-8.

Looking ahead, Highland will face off against Saugerties at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Millbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
