Soccer Game Preview: Grant vs. Valley

The Grant Pacers will head out to face off against the Valley Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

While Grant fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They had just enough and edged out Rio Linda 2-1.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Valley was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Patterson could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. Valley had to tread lightly for part of the contest as Edgar Calvario and Josue Bizarron were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Jasiel Bizarron and Aaron Saavedra scored both of Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.
