Addison Jackson commands the offense for Warriors win

Recap: Christian Academy Warriors vs. Clarksville Generals

The Christian Academy Warriors came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 44-28 win over Clarksville. That's another feather in the cap for Christian Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addison Jackson, who scored 12 points. Alexus Bryant was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with four steals.

Despite the defeat, Clarksville had strong showings from Courtney Austin, who scored nine points along with three steals, and Julia Perissi, who scored 13 points. Perissi continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Clarksville, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Henryville at 6:00 p.m. As for Clarksville, they will head out on the road to square off against Medora at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Medora is ranked 377th, while Clarksville is ranked 357th).
