Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with seven RBI, three runs, and two doubles. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, Evangeline East was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Addison Propst, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Piedmont Community Charter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .727. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Piedmont Community Charter's record is now 10-4. As for Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
