Grandview extended their home winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Chris Blanks. The Wolves took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 40-6 victory over the Smoky Hill Buffaloes for which the team can thank Blanks, who rushed for 102 yards and four scores on only six carries. Grandview is undefeated when Blanks posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

Grandview now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Smoky Hill, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grandview will face off against Cherokee Trail at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Blanks and Logan Posey. As for Smoky Hill, they will look to defend their home field on the 17th against Arapahoe at 7:00 p.m. The Buffaloes will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.14 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
