Kaydence Mathews gave up the fewest walks she has since back in March on Friday. Nobody could stop her as she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Mathews' strong effort led River View over Tri-Cities Prep and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
