Baseball Recap: Redlands East Valley Triumphs

The matchup between Redlands East Valley and Redlands on Tuesday hardly resembled the 3-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Wildcats walked away with a 13-8 victory over the Terriers. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Terriers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Caleb Jamroz tossed a big game, tossing 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Azael Hernandez was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Griffin Cunningham, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI.
